About Us

Growing up hunting public lands in Alabama, a limit hunt was always few and far between. We always hunted hard, many mornings waking up earlier or staying out later, anything to give us an advantage over surrounding hunters. Those early mornings would lead to long days, which is why it was always very important to be equipped with quality gear.

 After college, I spent many mornings waiting in line to launch the boat at public boat ramps across the southeast. Although we didn't always shoot a limit, the time shared with friends and family in the great outdoors generated memories that lasted far longer than a bacon-wrapped duck breast. 

It wasn't until I was working an aggressive night shift schedule, and hunting every morning that I realized I had a desire beyond the typical weekend hunter. In November 2019, the Public Pursuit brand was created for the sole purpose of enhancing outdoor experience starting with quality leather goods!
